I am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, a Registered Investment Advisor in Florida, and have an undergraduate degree from the US Military Academy and an MBA in Finance from Long Island University. I have been in practice for 20 years after retiring from the Army and have been investing in the mutual funds for over 30 years. I am independent and do not sell products. The firm offers the following services: 1. COMPREHENSIVE PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING Engagement includes a personal financial plan of about 45 pages and follow-on assistance and consultations for the remainder of the year to help the client implement the plan. Topics covered include setting personal and financial objectives, budgeting/spending control, and insurance, financial independence/retirement, investment, college funding, tax and estate planning. 2. INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICES I develop a recommended portfolio and provide quarterly reports and detailed recommendations on holdings based on an Investment Policy Statement. There is no minimum portfolio size, and I include retirement assets (such as 401(k) plans and variable annuities) in the analysis. Once the client decides on the recommendations, he/ she can either execute the trades or I can do them. A comprehensive plan is not a prerequisite. 3. HOURLY/ PROJECT SERVICES In certain circumstances I offer one-time portfolio, retirement, or other types of analyses.
